Obituary of Karen Campbell

CAMBPELL: Karen Ann (nee Gunn) - A resident of Chatham, Karen Campbell passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 46. Born in Windsor, Karen was the daughter of C. William "Bill" and Susan Mary (Kupfer) Gunn. Granddaughter to Mae Gunn of Amherstburg. Beloved wife to Craig Campbell. Loving mother to Paige Glasier (Curtis Lemieux), Hunter Glasier, Kennedy Glasier, Jordan Campbell and Taran Campbell, all of Chatham. Dear sister to Paul Gunn (fiancée Danijela), John Gunn (Mary), and Laura Cole (Chris), all of London. Daughter-in-law to Joanne Campbell and the late Murray Campbell (2016), sister-in-law to Scott Campbell and Sheila Van Boxtel (Herman), all of Chatham. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Karen was a Nurse Manager at Riverview Gardens in Chatham. She had worked in the nursing field since graduating from St. Clair College 23 years ago. Karen will be remembered for the love she had for her family, for her strength, positivity, strong faith and love for life. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 with Deacon Jerry Lozon officiating. Cremation to follow.
