Obituary of Francis Leach

LEACH: Francis LeRoy (Roy), a resident of Chatham, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Meadow Park Nursing Home at the age of 94. Roy was the son of the late Clarence & Mary Leach. Beloved husband of Gerda Leach & predeceased by first wife, Mona Leach (2014). Loving father of Robert Leach, Bonnie Cowell (Wayne), Brenda Leach (Dan), & Beverley Briand (Joseph), all of Chatham. Grandfather of Jo-lene, Heather, Jackie, Justin & the late Colette (2000). Great-grandfather of Roen, Kenah, Sawyer, Nash, Amelia & the late Lucas (2010). Predeceased by brother, Gerald Leach (2016). Roy was the owner of Turner & Leach Pharmacy working as a pharmacist for more than 50 years. He enjoyed spending time at the Active Lifestyle Centre and was an avid traveller & golfer. Roy was quite the joker, following up one of his jokes with a smile & a laugh. A private family Interment to take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
