Obituary of Nathan Cofell

Cofell, Nathan James - of Ridgetown, passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family on March 31, 2017 after a 13 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on May 27, 1975 to Gary and Joan (Gammage) Cofell in Chatham Ontario. He attended school at Ridgetown Public School, Ridgetown District High School, and St. Clair College where he graduated with a sales and marketing diploma. Nathan was a longtime employee of Penny's Restaurant and later became the Owner of Friendly Fotos Chatham. Loving father to Sierenna Cofell of Ridgetown and Chandler Cofell of Ridgetown. Beloved brother to Dana (Tracey) Cofell of Charing Cross. Nathan will also be missed by Colleen and Kyle Reardon of Edmonton AB, and by Vicki Cofell, Bill and Dolly Reid of Ridgetown, Chantelle Neill and Tammy Reid of Chatham. Nephew to Fred (Liz) Gammage of Port Dover, Godparents - Kathy (Ed) Cikatricis of Ridgetown, Roy Gammage of Ridgetown, Phil (Anne) Gammage of Cairo, Godfather Jim (Diane) Gammage of Ridgetown, Doug Cofell (Mariyln McLean) of Rice Lake, Also special nephew to Kathy Gammage of Ridgetown and Margo Cofell of Chatham. Adored Uncle to Charlie and Dorothy Cofell of Charing Cross, Brittany Neill of St. Thomas and Spencer Neill of Blenheim. He was preceded by his Cousin Rebecca Gammage, Uncle Don Cofell, Aunt Eileen Emeny, Uncle Charlie Gammage, Grandfather Orley Cofell, Grandmother Louise (Capsticks) Cofell, Grandfather Dana Gammage and Grandmother Peggy (Hogan) Gammage. Visitation will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown, Ontario on Tuesday April 4th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 5th at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
