Obituary of Ronald Nelson 'Ron' French
FRENCH: Ronald Nelson 'Ron' -
A resident of Chatham, Ron French passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the age of 67.
Born in Chatham, Ron was the son of the late Frederick and Celina (Dierickse) French.
Beloved husband of 32 years to Barb (nee Stefik).
Loving father of Sara French (Lee Odorizzi) of Bothwell and Rebecca Byrne (Jeff) of Wallaceburg.
Proud Grandpa of Victoria and Braeden.
Dear brother to Diane French, Peter French (Donna) and Carolyn Alexander (Murray).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Ron retired from Eaton Yale after almost 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors with his friends and family.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 6:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 8:00 pm.
Donations made in memory of Ron to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
