HARRIS: Roy P. -
A resident of Chatham, Roy Harris passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 43.
Born in Peace River, Roy was the son of Donna Jewett (Fred) and Paul Harris.
Dear brother to Henry Harris and Linda VandenBerg (Frank).
Proud uncle of Zakkery and Morgyn VandenBerg.
Dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.
Also missed by Ashley Harris and her daughter Kayley of Louisiana, USA.
Roy had a big heart and a noble spirit. He enjoyed the outdoors and helping his stepfather with drafting. He spent many enjoyable hours riding his motorcycle, restoring a vintage Camaro, and playing games with friends online. Roy was developing an online game at the time of his passing.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm with Captain Andrew Watkinson officiating.
Donations may be made in memory of Roy to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue (Chatham).
