Obituary of Clarice Moore

MOORE, Clarice Lorraine (O’Neill) - A resident of Riverview Gardens and formerly of Ridgetown and Duart, Clarice Lorraine, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 5, 2017 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. Born 92 years ago on March 31, 1925, daughter of the late Joseph Henry “Harry” O'Neill and Elsie Mae Kellogg. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Ernest Lyle Moore. Loving mother of John Randolph & Tracey Moore of Chatham, Richard David & Daphne Moore of New Jersey, Jordan Patrick Moore of Blenheim, and Ruth Anne Mazan of Chatham. Forever missed by her grandchildren Jeremy, Rick, Chad Moore, Robert Creasor, Kristal Schrank, Eric Moore, Hannah Merino, Sara, Jeff, Dale Mazan, and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

Survived by her brother Harry Keith O’Neill (Daphne) of Castlerock, Washington and her brother-in-law Ron Fuller (Beverly) of Ridgetown.

 

Predeceased by her siblings Joy Kerr (Alex), Peggy O'Neill, Bob O'Neill, Fred O’Neill, Pat Fuller, Mary Simpson, and Jimmy O’Neill.

 

Clarice worked in the insurance field for many years in Kent County. A member of the Women’s Institute, Canadian Girls in Training (CGIT), the Gideon’s Society, the Red Cross Quilting Society and a member Duart Presbyterian Church and later Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Ridgetown.

 

Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 10:30a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
