Obituary of William 'Bill' Van Every

VAN EVERY: William Alfred 'Bill' -

A resident of St. Marys, and formerly of Ridgetown, Bill Van Every passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the age of 66.

Born in Highgate, Bill was the son of Alfred and Grace (Helmer) Van Every.

Loving father of Glen Van Every and Derrick Van Every (Erica Anderson), both of Ridgetown.

Dear brother of Helen Lehmann (Fred) of Charing Cross, Larry (Lisanne) of Stoney Point, Linda Humphrey (Murray) of Bothwell, Rose (Ken Garton) of Ridgetown, Reg (Nancy) of McKay's Corners, Jim (Linda) of Thamesville, Clifford 'Gabby' (Linda) of Ridgetown, Shirley Faubert (Pat) of Mitchell's Bay, Dorothy Haines of Ridgetown, Sandra Dotterman (Mike) of Highgate, John (Brenda) of Thamesville, Tom (Robbi Jo) of Duart. Predeceased by his sister Donna Jean (1967) and brother Benjamin (2001). Survived by sister-in-law Doreen Van Every of Ridgetown.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, co-workers and extended family. Bill was an employee of Shur-Gain for just shy of 50 years.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, McKinlay 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held for Bill at 11:00 am on Monday, May 22, 2017 with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating. Interment to follow at Duart Cemetery.
