Obituary of Theodorus Burm
A resident of Chatham, Theo Burm passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on June 2, 2017 at the age of 82.
Born in Kloosterzande, Holland, Theo Burm was the son of the late Theodorus Burm (1980) and Martina (Sey) Burm (1988).
Beloved husband of 57 years to Rita Burm (Wilken).
Loving father of his daughter Anne Marie & Steve Davenport and his son Michael & Dawn Burm.
Grandchildren Christopher (Stef), Melissa Davenport (Nick Ingram), Rylan & Scott Burm, Kate Bowen & Brandy Mohr. One great grandson Skyler.
Dear brother of Johan Burm (Maria), Alois Burm (Gena), and his sister Marie Lois & Jos Huisman. Predeceased by sister Magda (Johan Andriessen) all in Holland.
Survived by his In-laws John Wilken, Conrad & Bonnie Wilken and Ann Gielen.
Pre-Deceased by Margaret Wilken, Pete Gielen, Liz and Martin Van De Hogen and Lenie Wilken.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham, at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Fr. Jim Higgins will be officiating the service.
Donations made in memory of Theo to the Blessed Sacrament Church Building Fund or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
