Obituary of Ruth Roadhouse
Roadhouse, Ruth E. - of Blenheim, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Saturday July 15, 2017, age 94. Predeceased by her husband the late Jack Roadhouse (1996). Loving mother of Anne Gammage and husband Don of Blenheim and John Roadhouse of Blenheim. Beloved Grandmother of Cathy (David) Ramsden of Blenheim, Tracy (Earl) Woudwyk of Chatham, Marcie Gammage of Blenheim, David Roadhouse (Tiffenni Wilkinson) of Toronto, and Christopher (Kelly) Roadhouse of Toronto. Great-grandmother of Terri (Stephen), Annie (Ben), Chad (Shelby), Emalee, and Holly. Great-great Grandmother of ten. Sister-in-law of Gwen Irwin of Leamington and Verna Gable of Blenheim.
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Lillian (Reynolds) Gable, siblings Meda Babis, Winnifred McIntosh, Lloyd Gable, Edward Gable and Jack Gable.
Ruth was a lifetime member of the Blenheim Legion Branch 185 Ladies Auxiliary.
A Graveside Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday July 22, 2017, at 11am. Luncheon to follow at the Blenheim Legion. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com.
