Obituary of Audrey Jean Brown

Brown, Audrey Jean (Marriott)

Audrey died peacefully with family by her side at Riverview Gardens on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the age of 87.

Audrey was born in Hamilton and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen (Forbes) Marriott.

She was a resident of Chatham.

Beloved wife of Leon Brown for 69 years. 

Dear mother of Mark (Bonnie) Brown, Leigh (the late Jennifer) Brown, Brenda Appel (Robb Phipps), Peter (Donna) Brown and Judy (Brian) Girard.  

Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. 
 
Remembered by a brother-in-law John (Marg) Brown and Donna Brown.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by an infant son, Grant, sisters, Helen Kitney and Dorothy Marshall and brothers, Alexander and Kenneth Marriott.

Cremation has taken place.

The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jim Kettle, officiating.

Private family interment at a later date.
