Obituary of Doris Marie Cox

COX: Doris Marie (nee Mallett) -

A lifetime resident of Chatham, Doris Cox passed away at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the age of 91.

Born in Chatham, Doris was the daughter of the late Harry Mallett and Irene Labadie. Loving step-daughter of the late Percy Sparks.

Beloved wife for 53 years to the late J. Eric Cox (1999).

Loving mother of John Eric Cox, Jr. (Dana) of Fort McMurray, Terry Cox (Mary Ann) of Chatham, Rev. Steven Cox (Nancy) of Listowel and Judith Ann Cox of Edmonton, AB.

Proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Dear sister to Barbara Slavik (Frank) of Harwich Township. Predeceased by her siblings Blanche Gazarek (late Tony), Bessie Higgins, Robert Mallett (Donna) and Bob Mallett.

Also remembered by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

A Graveside Service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:00pm.
