Calma, Delia (nee Cabonot)
A resident of Chatham, Delia peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital in her 69th year.
Delia was the daughter of Domingo (2010) & Estella Cabonot of the Philippines.
Beloved wife of Vicente Calma for 41 beautiful years and has been Delia's greatest love & support through everything.
Loving mother of Grace (Michael) of Michigan and Eric (Tina) of Edmonton, AB.
Lola of Shania, Georgia & Rachel.
Sister of Paz (Wayne) Turner of Sarnia and 5 siblings, all in the Philippines.
Delia was a kind & generous soul, and was always lending a helping hand to others even despite the pain that she was feeling. Always with a smile on her face, she lit up any room that she entered. She was an avid gardener, excellent chef and the best giver of advice. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and with her grandchildren.
Family to receive friends on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandys Street, Chatham at 11:00 am on Saturday with visitation from 9:30 am until service time. Cremation to follow.
Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Delia.
