Obituary of Judith Anne Staniforth

Mrs. Judith Anne Staniforth of Chatham died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the CKHA-Chatham Campus following a long battle with Cancer. 

Judith was born in Montreal, Quebec and was the daughter of the late Doug and Marguerite ( Henderson) Cooke.

She leaves behind her loving husband Victor Staniforth, her daughters,  Brenda Horban ( Danny Horban), Barbara Staniforth (Simon Nash) and a son,  Ron Staniforth.  
 
She will be missed by her grand-daughter Sophie and her grandsons, Theo, Nicholas and Tristan.

Kind sister-in law to Doreen Cooke. 

Predeceased by a brother Ron Cooke.

She remained close to her cousins and many good friends who she was in regular contact with. Judy was active with playing bridge, singing in her church choir and catching up on everybody's FaceBook news. 

Cremation has taken place. 

Visitation with family will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Tuesday,  October 3, 2017 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time

The service will be officiated by Rev. Wanda Burse.

A private family interment will take place at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the St. Paul's United Church, Chatham or the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
