Obituary of Joan Feron
FERON: Joan Elizabeth (nee Dick) -
A resident of Ridgetown, Joan Feron passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with her family at her side on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the age of 59.
Born in Chatham, Joan was the daughter of the late Alex and Betty (Huffman) Dick.
Loving mother of Brian and Rachel Feron of Sarnia and Nicole and Clayton Hatfield of Woodstock.
Proud Grammi of Grayson and Oliver Feron.
Dear sister to John and Millie Dick of Thamesville. Cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews and one great-nephew. Also missed by many friends and extended family.
Joan was a dedicated and valued employee of the Bank of Montreal, where she worked as a financial services manager. She will be remembered for being an active member of her community and supporting various charities. She enjoyed spending her free time at the family cottage at Rondeau.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 with Rev. Doug Rowley officiating. Interment to follow at Botany Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Joan to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Arthritis Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
