ESKRITT, Gloria Jean (nee Trudell)
It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Eskritt announces her peaceful passing, with her family at her side, at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham on Saturday November 4, 2017.
Born in Windsor, 87 years ago on June 26, 1930, daughter of the late Albert & Lilly Trudell.
Loving wife of the late Harry Louis Eskritt (2011).
Beloved mother of the late Tim (Anne) Eskritt, Linda (Larry) Lee, George (Carmen) Eskritt, Judy (Jim) Carnegie, and Pat (John) Stirling.
Grandma will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, Tricia, Garnet (Vicki), Scott (Darlene), Christine (Derrick), Heather, Jennifer, Robert (Desiree), Janet (Matt), Jamie (Tom), Mark (Heather), Charlene (Chris), and Janice.
Special Great Grandmother of 16, Curtis, Dominique, Sierra, Olivia, Paige, Dylan, Peyton, Jessie, Haley, DJ, Taylor, Kayleigh, Euan, River, Ivan, Tyler & Ethan.
Predeceased by siblings, Alvin, Donald, Beatrice, Bernadette, Albert, Earl, Marcel, Ernie, Jerry, Stan, Theresa & Ray.
Survived by sister-in-laws, Shirley, Edna & Darlene, step-brother & sister-in-laws, Hugh, Peter, Barbara, Wilma, Helen, the late Margaret & the late Dan.
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Gloria was a homemaker, an exceptional mother, grandmother & great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a resident of Mitchell's Bay for many years & an avid fishing partner to her husband, Harry.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Floor 6 East & Dr. Park Parry for their exceptional care for Gloria over the last 4 years.
A Celebration of Gloria's life will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, November 8th 2017 at 12:00 pm with visitation from 10:00 am until service time.
Donations In Memory of Gloria to the Alzheimer's Society or charity of choice.
