Danny passed away peacefully at the CKHA-Chatham Campus on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 73.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1692.
Danny was born in Duart, ON and was the son of the late David and Grace (Moore) Mills.
Loving husband of 52 years to Doreen (Lippert) Mills of Chatham.
Dear brother of Margaret and Don Houghton of Rodney and Mary Simpson of St. Thomas.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-laws and friends.
Predeceased by a son Terry Mills (1979) and a brother, Blake (Jr.) Mills (2015).
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 5 p.m., with Pastor Paul McPhail, officiating.
Cremation to take place.
A Celebration of Life and Interment in Trinity Anglican Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Danny to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation and C-K Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
