A resident of Chatham, formerly of Ridgetown & Thamesville, Velma peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home in her 87th year.
Velma was the daughter of the late Charles & Janie Belle Brush.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Clark (1959) & the late Ivan MacDougall (2004).
Loving mother of Rosemary Clark, Joanne Trinca (John), the late Jane Elliott (Charlie), Dale Clark (Jean), Louise Henderson (Bruce) & Linda MacDougall (Marianne).
Grandmother of 12 & Great-Grandmother of 25.
Sister of the late Clifford Brush (the late Leaeleanor), the late Marilyn Johnston (Murray), & James Brush.
Missed by many nieces, nephews, friends & coffee buddies.
Velma was an avid bowler, enjoyed gardening & playing cards.
Family to receive friends on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Funeral Service in memory of Velma will take place at 11:00 am on Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial to take place in Botany Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Velma may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
