It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye for now to Jack W. Lenover.

He entered into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Sunday,  December 31, 2017.   

The youngest of six children born to James and Mabel Lenover 91 years ago.

Beloved best friend and husband of Maxine (Coulter) Lenover for 67 years.

Loving brother-in law of Donna and Tom Moore of Tilbury and Bud and Elfa Coulter of Comber.

Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his sister Eva (Barron) Greiner, and brothers, Charles, Gerald (Isabelle), Walter (Dorothy) and Keith (Leota).

Jack attended Central School and later took commercial courses at Chatham Vocational School. He joined the Navy in 1944 and trained in Windsor, London, Toronto, Winnipeg and Cornwallis, N.S. After the war, Jack attended Emmaus Bible College in Toronto for one year and one year at Canada Business College in Chatham. He started to work at Lenover Meats with his brothers, Gerald, Walter and Keith in 1949 and retired in 1995. Jack was a faithful member of Gregory Drive Alliance Church serving in the capacity of youth leader and Elder.

The family will receive friends at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, 255 Gregory Drive West, Chatham, ON, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 10-11 a.m., with the funeral service to follow. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Brent Farquhar.

Interment will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Jack to Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada, Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada-Global Advance Fund or the Gideons International-Canada would be appreciated.
