Obituary of Raylynn Joanna Verburg
VERBURG: Raylynn Joanna 'Ray' -
A resident of Chatham, Raylynn Verburg passed away peacefully at the London Children's Hospital on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 15.
Born in Chatham, Raylynn was the daughter of Joseph Verburg (Lisa Quesnel) and Brieanna Alward (Matthew).
Dear sister to Marcus Van Deven, Robert Verburg, Morgan Verburg, Mason Alward and Bryson Alward. Step-sister to Nicholas, Gerard and Kayden.
Cherished granddaughter of Rita June and John & MaryEllen Dionne and Kimberly & Jon Andrew Lawrence. Great-niece to Deb Lucier (Jeff), Anita Hyatt (Dave) and Kjelb Hansen (Maryann).
Much loved niece of Thomas Verburg (Terah), Daniel Dionne (Kathlene), Jonathan Dionne (Lyrissa), Caleb Dionne and Gabriel Dionne (Michelle). Also missed by many close cousins, friends and extended family.
Raylynn was a Grade 10 student at Ursuline College (The Pines). She loved animals, swimming, anime and spending time with her best friend Carly. Raylynn will be remembered for her sense of humour and her spunky personality.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm. All guests are invited to dress casually. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Cremation to follow.
Donations made in memory of Raylynn to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Pet and Wildlife Rescue would be appreciated.
