After a rich life filled with farming, family and friends, Ed passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018. He was 81 years old.

Ed was born in Chatham on December 14, 1936 and was the son of the late Herbert and Mabel (Weaver) Masterson.

Beloved husband of the late Betty (Hutchinson) Masterson (2009).

Loving father of Karen Masterson of Barrie, Tim and Sherry Masterson of London, Patrick Masterson of Panama City Beach, Florida and Colleen and Chris Masterson-Bzdok of Traverse City, Michigan.

Special Grandpa and “Farm Bappa” to Reed, Rylee, Regan, Brendan and Ruby.

The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Street, Chatham, ON, at 10 a.m. with Fr. Jim Higgins, Celebrant.

A reception will follow at the Country View Golf Course, 25393 St. Clair Road, Chatham, ON (at the corner of 40 Hwy and Country View Line).
