Pinsonneault, Christine Louise
Christine passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at the Chatham Kent Hospice at the age of 75.
Loving wife to Vincent for 54 years, mother of 3 children, Laurette Carey (William), Elizabeth Verbeem (Paul), and Vincent Pinsonneault Jr. (Katrina).
She will be sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren: Lauren Roels (Jeff), Ashlyne Carey, Branden, Brittaney, and Bradley Verbeem.
She is survived by 9 siblings: Leah Hudak, Elaina Shean (Dennis), Edmund Gignac (Maureen), Ben Gignac (Charlene), Joe Gignac (Lori), Cathy Bechard (Bill), Theresa Tiedeman (Bruce), Timothy Gignac, Tom Gignac (Sharon), and sister-in-law Diane Gignac.
She is predeceased by her infant child Mary, her mother and father Philomena and Edmund Gignac, and her brother Alphonse Gignac.
She taught for 27 years with the Kent County Separate School Board, was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Women's League (CWL), and a faithful member of the Blessed Sacrament Church Choir.
The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, ON, on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Vigil prayers will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham, ON, at 10 a.m, with Fr. Jim Higgins, Celebrant.
Cremation to take place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
