Obituary of Grace Tong
Tong, Grace Marie - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our rock Grace Marie Tong (nee Guyett) on Saturday January 27, 2018.
She was the best friend and loving wife of Tom for 68 years. He will miss her deeply.
She loved her family Bonny Quait, (Ted Dymerski), Barb Caron (Randy), Ken (Geri) and Betty Playfoot (Bill).
The apples of her eyes included Shannon, Will (Nancy), Brittany, Mike (Mandy), Amy, Ashley, Mike and Nick.
The little apples are Emily, Josh, Zack, Riley, Hailey, Andrew, Lachlan, Alice and Rosalee.
She was born on February 4, 1933 to parents Doug and Edith (nee Evans) Guyett.
She is predeceased by her son Gord, siblings Evelyn, Donna, Joyce and Beverly, and son-in-law James Quait.
Survived by siblings Ruth, George, Doreen, and Dorothy.
Sister-in-law of John and Ralph Tong.
Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St. Blenheim, on Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 11am. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
