Obituary of George Leo Wolf

WOLF: George Leo -

A resident of Duart, George Wolf passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with his family at his side on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the age of 75.

Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia George was the son of the late Stefan and Dorothy (Jeremic) Wolf.

Beloved husband to the late Carol (nee Doerr) (2008).

Loving father of Michelle Roelofs (Wes) of Morpeth, George Wolf (Bev) of Sarnia and Jamie Wolf (Stephanie) of Duart.

Proud Grandpa of Kyle Roelofs, Jessica Roelofs, Sarah Wolf, Steven Wolf, Joshua Wolf and Ethan Wolf.

Brother to Alexander Wolf of Rodney and Peter Wolf of London.

George will be missed by his faithful canine companion Loki.

Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

George had been an active member of Duart and Highgate communities. He was instrumental in fundraising for several projects through the Lion's Club, including the Highgate Ball Park. Many will remember George for his passion for photography, which captured many moments of his family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 with Rev. Doug Rowley officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
