Obituary of Dianne Rebecca Gazo

Gazo, Dianne Rebecca

Dianne passed away peacefully at the CKHA-Chatham Campus and took her last breath just as the sun fell below the horizon on Saturday March 3, 2018 at the age of 63.

Dianne was born in Chatham on May 30, 1954 and was the daughter of the late Eryl and Dorothy Newkirk. 

Loving wife of Michael Gazo of Chatham. Shortly after getting married, Dianne returned to school and graduated as a registered nurse. 

She worked as an R.N at the Pines Mother House Infirmary and St. Joseph's Hospital in Chatham. 

Dianne had a love of music and enjoyed singing with several different church choirs throughout her life. She was also an amazing artist. I would like to thank Dr. Watterud and both the staff of the Emergency Department and Medicine A for the kind and compassionate care they provided to both myself and Dianne.

I also appreciate the support that I received from my fellow paramedics and management staff. 

I especially want to thank Wendy Ferris who started as a friend to Dianne but over time became her family. Her care and devotion to Dianne was more than could have been asked by any more than one person. 

The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. ON, on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.

A private service will take place. Cremation to follow.
