Obituary of Greta Lucie Lesy

Lesy,Greta Lucie (nee Delrue) - of Merlin, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Sunday March 4, 2018 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Oscar and Ruby (nee Milmine) Delrue. Beloved wife of Roger Lesy for 50 years. 

Loved mother of Christine Lesy and partner Dwayne Cooper of Merlin and of the late Randy Lesy. 

Beloved grandmother of Ashley Szeremek and partner Richard Schram of Merlin, and Shalynn Szeremek and partner Mike Thomson of London. 

Sister of Larry and wife Joyce Delrue of Dover and Gloria and husband John Zeenaeme of Toronto. 

Sister-in-law of Pauline (late Walter) Cammaert of London and Mary Guttridge of Dealtown. 

Survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Greta farmed along side her husband Roger for many years. She was also a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's League. Greta enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. 

Visiting will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St., Blenheim, on Wednesday March 7, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Thursday March 8, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers will be held on Wednesday March 7, at 7pm. 

The Funeral Mass for Greta will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Blenheim on Friday March 9, 2018 at 9:30am with Fr. John Juhl as Celebrant. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
