Obituary of Walter Van Mol

VAN MOL: Walter -

Peacefully with his family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the age of 94.

Born in The Netherlands October 28, 1923, Walter was the son of the late Johannes and Petronella (de Laat) Van Mol.

Predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Mary Wouters (Beenackers) (March 15, 2015) and infant son Michael (1974).

Dear Father to Maggie (late Chris, 2015) McGregor of Ingersoll, John (Diana) Beenackers of Highgate, Frank (Nancy) Beenackers of Muirkirk, Rita Senyk of Ridgetown, Peter (Susan) Van Mol of Blenheim and Gary (Julie) Van Mol of Botany.

Cherished OPA of 17 Grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by two sisters, Toos and Nellie in The Netherlands and a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews from the Van Mol, Wouters and Beenackers Families.

Predeceased by older twin sisters and 2 younger brothers, all in The Netherlands.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown at 10:30am on Monday, March 26, 2018 with Fr. John Juhl as celebrant. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at St. Michael's Cemetery at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Walter to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Foundation of CKHA - Dialysis Unit or St. Michael's Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
