Margaret passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the CKHA-Chatham Campus at the age of 91.

Margaret was born in Sault St. Marie and was the daughter of the late James (Archie) and Mary Ellen (Nellie) (Millington) Turner.

She was a resident of Chatham and formerly of Sault Ste. Marie.

Beloved wife of the late William Gardner (March 15, 1983).

Dear mother of Jean Coulson and the late George of Chatham, Ruth and Peter Roos of Chatham and Robert and Norma Gardner of Sault Ste. Marie.

Loving grandmother of Scott Barstead and Nina Caleffi, Meghan and John Caruso and Iain and Heather Gardner.

Sadly missed by great-grandchildren, Liam and Emily Barstead, Matilda Gardner, Owen, Cole and Ashtyn Caleffi.

Lovingly remembered by her dear niece, Judy McDowell.

Cherished at home by her puppies, Katie and Abby.

Predeceased by a brother Leonard (2013) and his wife Alice (2014).

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

The Funeral Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time, with Rev. George Allan, officiating.
