Henderson, Mary (nee Broadwood) 

A resident of Ridgetown, Mary Henderson passed away on Friday, April 6 2018 at her home in her 97th year. 

Mary was the daughter of the late Thomas & Lela Pearl (nee Moorse) Broadwood. 

Beloved wife of the late John Henderson (1969). 

Mother of Beverley Henderson and the late Leona of Tilbury, Carol Hopper and her husband Gerald of Ridgetown, Deborah Guyitt and her husband John of Ridgetown, Laura Keats and her husband Gary of Chatham, Barbara Deprez and her husband Joseph of Kent Bridge. 

Grandmother of Tom (Elaine) Henderson, Jeffery Henderson, Jenny (Bill) Gardiner, Dwayne (Carrie) Hopper, Tracy (Greg) Clark, Lindsay (James) Culford, Patrick Guyitt, Sheena Galbraith (Terry Dulong), Alicia Galbraith, Janice Deprez, Julie Deprez and Jodie Deprez.  

Great-grandmother of TJ, Mallory, Amber, Brenna, Brett, Cameron, Madison, Lilly, Emily, Riley, Spencer & Mason.

Sister-in-law of Margaret Broadwood.  

Predeceased by brothers John Broadwood & Edward Broadwood. 

Mary was an Avon Representative for many years, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Erie Street United Church and the Ridgetown Senior Centre where she enjoyed playing Pokeno.

Family to receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim to follow. 

Donations may be made to the Ridgetown Adult Centre, to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243, or charity of your choice.
