Obituary of Debbie Vidler

VIDLER: Debra Lynn - of Erieau, Debra passed away peacefully at her home on Monday April 23, 2018 at the age of 65.

Born in Chatham, Ontario, Debbie was the daughter of the late O.J. and Molly (McCoy) Vidler.

Debbie was the loving sister of Jim Vidler (Judy), Dana Vidler (Carol) and Tom Vidler (Sandra) all of Erieau.

Proud Aunt to Michael Vidler (Christine), Melissa Schiedel (Paul), Brandon Campbell (Madison), Justin Campbell (Kathleen), Jordan Campbell (Cora); Mark Vidler (Stephanie), Matthew Vidler (Laura), Benjamin Vidler, Gregory Vidler, Jonathan Vidler; Ashley Goodbrand (Jon) and Bradley Vidler (Lindsay).

Great-Aunt to Eric Vidler (Chelsea) , Sarah Vidler, Julie-Ann Campbell; Tyler Schiedel, Jillian Schiedel; Dylan Vidler; Lucas Vidler and Olivia Vidler.

Dear Niece to Maureen Docherty of Belfast, Ireland, Vera Riley of Durington, England, Mary Remington (late Gordon), Chatham and Jeannette Vidler, Erieau.

Predeceased by her Uncles George Vidler,  John Vidler (late Ruth) and Hartley Vidler (late Mary-Lou) and by her Aunts Gladys, Clara, Betty and Margaret and Joan.

Debbie worked for many years at the family restaurant Molly and O.J.’s. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 185 Blenheim Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Erieau.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday April 26, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Friday April 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.

Donations made in memory of Debbie to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 185 Blenheim, Erieau Firefighter Association or St. Paul's Anglican Church, Erieau would be appreciated.
