Obituary of Ed Fields

Fields, John Edward “Ed” - passed away on Saturday June 2, 2018, age 60. Born in Chatham, Ontario to parents the late Burt and Marie (nee Heinz) Fields. Loving partner of Tammie Crawford for 26 years. Beloved father of Jessica Fields and Jacob Peltier of Chatham, Nichole Fields and Gabby Mexico of Chatham, and Shaun Edward Fields and Cassie Fulmer of Blenheim. Grandpa to Kolton Jones. Brother of Burt Fields of Erieau, and the late Bonnie (late David) Round. Nephew of Norman Heinz of Cedar Springs. Uncle to Chrissy (Wade) Little of Woodstock and Andrew Round of Erieau. Great-Uncle to Kayla Little. Will also be missed by Joy Fields. Son-in-law of the late Finlay “Skeeter” Keith Crawford and surviving Sherrell Crawford of Chatham. Step-father of Ryan Crawford of Chatham. Brother-in-law of Perry (Kim) Crawford of Chatham and Rai-Ann (Randy) McKinlay of Chatham.

Will be missed by his many friends and family.

Ed loved to spend time with his family and work for Premo.

Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St. Blenheim, on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 11am with the Rev. Timothy Joyce as Minister. Burial to follow.
