Maxwell, William "Willie"
Willie passed away peacefully with his family and friends at his side on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home at the age of 42.
He was born in Chatham and was the son of Ron Maxwell of Chatham and the late Joan Maxwell (2005).
Dear brother of Angie and Mike Smith of Thamesville.
Beloved uncle of Kayla.
Special friend of Ryan and Lacey Jackson, Ian and Joanne Johnston, Josh Dulong and Marcus Barry.
Sadly missed by Aunt Rose and Uncle Dave and many other family members.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will take place at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., with Celebrant Mike McCracken.
Willie was an avid Red Wings Fan, loved to play poker and his favorite meeting spot was Coffee Culture.
The family and friends would like to thank the staff at the Copper Terrace Nursing Home for all of their care and compassion given to Willie.
Donations in memory of Willie to the Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated.
