A resident of McGregor, formerly of Chatham, Bruce Allison peacefully passed away at the Hospice of Windsor Essex County - Erie Shores Campus on Monday, June 18, 2018 in his 82nd year.
Son of the late Carl & Lillian (nee McDonell) Allison.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) (nee Chappell).
Loving father of Matthew Allison and his wife Heather of McGregor.
Papa of two grandsons, Lukas & Nicholas Allison.
Brother of the late Betty Getchell.
Missed by nieces & nephews.
Bruce retired from Union Gas after 42 years of service in 1997 and a devoted member of Christ Church of Amherstburg.
Family to receive friends on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service for Bruce will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 pm with Fr. Bill Strang as officiate. Private Family Burial to take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
In lieu of all flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society & Hospice of Windsor-Essex County in memory of Bruce.
