Obituary of Ella Roelyna Heslinga
HESLINGA: Ella Roelyna (nee Hunse) -
April 8, 1948 - June 23, 2018
Ella Roelyna Heslinga was abruptly taken home to our Lord on June 23, 2018 at 70 years of age.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Fred, daughter Janine: Sarah (Kenny), Elizabeth, Hannah; son Joel (Trish): Emma; and daughter Angela (Steeve): Sophie, Jonah, and Logan.
She is survived by siblings Tom, Lambert, Alie (Ted), Biny (Reel), John (Ellen) and Henrietta (Jim) and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Predeceased by brother Lucas, sister Alberta and sisters-in-law Jo and Grace and brother-in-law Dick.
Ella was the 'Kingpin' of the family and extended her love to many, many others. She expressed her passion for worship in singing and liturgy. She fully appreciated the simple beauty in life and the world around her.
Visitation with the family is on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 255 Tweedsmuir Ave W in Chatham. Memorial Service is at the church at 11:00 am on Thursday. Interment with the family will have taken place.
Donations made in memory of Ella to World Renew or Chatham Christian Schools would be appreciated.
