Green, Gerald "Jerry"
Jerry passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the LHSC-Victoria Campus on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 75.
Jerry was born in Chatham and was the son of the late Elmer and Helen (Loxton) Green.
Caring and supportive father of David and Carla Green of North Bay, Mark Green of Burk's Falls and Jana and Larin Shouldice of London.
Remembered as a loving and generous grandpa by Zach, Sean, Ashley (Devon), Jessy, Reid and Cate.
Dear brother of Shirley (the late Bob) Gordon of Chatham, Diane (the late Ron) McLean of Ridgetown, Ron (Amy) Green of Chatham and Brad Green of Comber.
Predeceased by his brother Jim Green and his sister Marlene (Bob) Gobert.
Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was a life-long employee of Meritor who relished his annual fall hunting trips and could fix just about anything. He was a dedicated grandfather who would often travel miles to see his grandchildren participate in their sports and activities.
The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
A private family service will follow.
Donations in memory of Jerry to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
