A resident of Chatham, Anna Oost passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
Born in Holland, Anna was the daughter of the late Ate & Klassje (nee Dykstra) deJager.
Beloved wife of the late Leo Oost.
Loving mother of Clara Allin (Greg Clatworthy), Audrey (Robert) Sussex, Yvonne (Leonard) Blair, Harriet Whaley & Lucy (Jeff) VanHorne, all of Chatham.
Grandmother of 9 & great-grandmother of 3.
Sister of the late Johannes deJager of Holland & the late Nellie Spierings of New Zealand.
Anna was a wonderful mother of 5 girls, she loved to cook & knit. She will be missed by many.
Family to receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street. A Funeral Service to take place on Saturday at the Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
Donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
