In Loving Memory of
Mrs. Beverly White (nee Tennier)
1930-2018
It is with both with sadness and with gladness that the family announces her death, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Cherished Wife and best friend of almost 56 years of the Late William ‘Bill’ White (2010). Beloved Mother of Melanie Kennedy of Oshawa and her best friend Cathy McCormick, Tom (Diane) White of Tilbury, Bill White of Oshawa, and the Mother of his children Patti Harrington. Nanny will be forever in the hearts of her Grandchildren; Brooke (Stephen Cochrane) Kennedy, Colin Kennedy, David (Jessica Gowanlock) Kennedy, Kristy (Chris McLean) White, Mathew (MacKenzie Clark) White, Emily White and Laura White. Her memory and spirit will live on in her Great Grandchildren Isabella and Oliver. Bev is also survived by her sisters Barbara (Everett) Meek, June Mercer and Monty Mendenhall, and her brother in law Bruce Laverty as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Otis and Harriet ‘Hatty’ Tennier, her husband Bill, her siblings Infant William Russell Tenier, Reta Henderson and Eleanor Laverty and her brothers in law Robert Henderson and Roy Mercer.
In keeping with Beverly’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place in the future to lay Bill and Bev to rest together. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Michaels Hospital Foundation (www.stmichaelsfoundation.com) or to the Ontario Lung Association (www.lungontario.ca) and would be appreciated by the family.
