Obituary of Georgean Bertha Sinclair

Sinclair: Georgean Bertha (nee Tasker) -

A resident of Chatham, Georgean Sinclair passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in her 78th year. 

Born on April 6, 1940 in Tilbury East Township, Georgean was the  daughter of the late George  and  Clara (nee Joyce)  Tasker. 

Beloved wife of  37 years to Larry.

Loving mother of her three sons, Brian (Carrie) Patrick of Eberts, Ken (Zuzana) Patrick of Stoney Point, & Wayne (Marg) Patrick of Charing Cross. 

Grandma of Jeremy (Mellissa), Brad (Stacey), Stephen, Derrick (Dani), Zachary, Caitlin & Tereza (Murray).

Great-grandma of Brennen, Justin, Megan, Hayden, Emily, Xavier, Ellie, Alicia (Chris) & Ethan. 

Remembered by special nephew, Bud, step-sons, Ed (Joanne) Sinclair, Shawn Sinclair & many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Max, Harold, Douglas "Bud", Leo & Jack. 

Survived by sisters in law, Ellen Tasker, Ruby Tasker & Dorrine Phaneuf. 

Georgean was a member of Christ Church and retired from Thamesview Lodge after 28 years of service. 

The Sinclair family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Burgess & Dr. Clendenning, the staff at the Chatham-Kent Hospice & the staff of the VON for their care and compassion. 

Family to receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Funeral Service in memory of Georgean will take place at 11am on Tuesday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Elaine Wilcox as officiant. Cremation to follow with a Private Family Interment at a later date. 

Donations made in memory of Georgean to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to a charity of ones choice.
