Obituary of Elaine Neville

Neville: Elaine (nee Bodkin) -

A resident of Cedar Springs, Elaine Neville passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the age of 80.

Born in Florence, Elaine was the daughter of the late Fred and Aileen (Childs) Bodkin.

Beloved wife of 24 years to the late Larry Neville (2016).

Dear sister to Marilyn Wranich (late John), Kathryn Vanek (Joe) and Evelyn Tomlinson (Gary).

Also fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends and extended family.

Elaine graduated from Teacher's College in 1958, and taught her entire teaching career with the Kent Country Board of Education. Throughout her career she was also an organist at several churches in the area and played the piano at McKinlay Funeral Home in Chatham for over 25 years.

Elaine enjoyed working in her gardens and caring for her pets.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 10:30 am until the Celebration of Elaine's Life at 12:00 pm with Rev. Eric Skillings officiating. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at a later date.
