Marshall: Doris Isabelle (nee Andrews)
A resident of Chatham, Doris Marshall passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the age of 96.
Born in Halifax, Doris was the daughter of the late Thomas and Charlotte (nee Croft) Andrews.
Beloved wife of 70 years to the late John (2014).
Loving mother of Ernest John (Lisa) Marshall of Blenheim, Jay (Selina) Marshall of Nelson, BC and Barbara Ann (Paul) Gardiner of Pain Court.
Grandmother of Thomas Marshall (Sue), Andrew Marshall (Heather Henning), and Matthew Marshall (Christa Asseltine).
Great-grandmother of Blake, Charlotte, Kate, Abigail, Ryan, Nathan, and Audree May.
Sister of George Andrews of Courtney, BC, the late Doug Andrews, and the late Joe Andrews.
Missed by many nieces and nephews.
Doris enjoyed knitting dolls for children and spending time with her family.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Catholic Chapel (2nd floor of the Towers) within the Chatham Retirement Resort, 25 Keil Drive at 1:30pm. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Doris to the CKHA Foundation or to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
