Martin, Rebecca "Becky" (nee Pembleton)
A resident of Chatham, Rebecca (Becky) Martin passed away at Meadow Park Nursing Home on Monday, September 17 2018 in her 91st year.
Born in Thedford, Ontario on May 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Mary (nee Moore) Pembleton.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Martin (1994).
Loving mother of Nancy Martin (Art Wilson), Roger Martin (Jacqueline), both of Chatham, the late Robert Martin (2006) and an infant son (1959).
Grandmother of Bryan Martin (Maia) of Hamilton & Jocelyn Jenken (Dennis) of Sarnia.
Great-grandmother of Curtis Martin-Langlois & Frederic Jenken.
Predeceased by her brothers & sisters.
Becky was an avid Euchre player at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 628 and an Auxiliary member of St. John Ambulance, Chatham Division. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Family to receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. As per Becky's wishes, cremation to take place with a Private Family Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Rebecca may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Meadow Park Nursing Home Activity Fund.
