Obituary of Linda Diana Diesbourg

Diesbourg, Linda Diana (nee Huckle)

Linda died peacefully with her family by her side at the C-K Hospice on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 70.

Linda was born in Chatham on September 10, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mary Huckle.

She was a longtime resident of Chatham and was a sales representative for Avon for over 30 years. She enjoyed cruising with her husband, Ted, in their 1953 Pontiac to various car shows.

Much time was spent with her grandchildren, Paige and Dakota, baking and enjoying a good, competitive game of Catch Phrase, Bumper Stumpers or Wheel of Fortune.

Linda loved family reunions, she was a huge Blue Jays fan and enjoyed playing bingo.

Beloved wife and best friend of 50 years to Ted Adrian Diesbourg of Chatham.

Loving mother of Tim Diesbourg and Ali Kilbride and Lisa Diesbourg and Todd Read all of Chatham.

Devoted Meme of Paige and Dakota Butt.

Dear sister of Bill Huckle and the late Lorraine and Harvey and Doris Huckle all of Chatham.

Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brothers, Lavern, Jim and Kenny.

The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Vigil prayers will be held Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave. W. Chatham, ON at 11 a.m., with Fr. Jim Higgins, celebrant.

Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
