Obituary of John Want
Want, John Herman - Passed away peacefully on Friday October 5, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, age 81. A longtime resident of Blenheim, John was the son of the late John Arthur and Viola Want.
Predeceased by his wives Jackie (nee Banks) Want and Bernice (nee Cosbey) Want.
Loving father of daughter Jon-ann and son Richard and wife Tamara. Step-father of Brenda and husband Bob Lesa and step-son the late Wayne Traylor.
Grandfather to Melanie Nijar, Jaspaul Nijar, Kari Lesa-Laing, Darric Lesa (Tanya Kobylka), and Josh Traylor.
Great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren.
Brother to Brian (Ron), Gord (Margaret), late Lloyd (Shirley), late Ada (late Mike), Harold (Rose), Ray (Cathy), Doug, Oliver (Carol), Delbert (Sarah), and late Marjorie (late Jack).
John worked for Charron Transport for 40+ years. In retirement he enjoyed his coffee chats and going for drives to visit friends and family.
Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St., Blenheim on Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 10-11am. The Funeral Service will follow at 11am with Chaplain Bill Terris of Transport for Christ Officiating. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
