Obituary of Clayton Squire

Squire, Clayton Harold- of Chatham, formerly of Ridgetown, Tilbury and Lighthouse Cove. Passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday October 9, 2018 age 82. Born in Ekfird Township, Middlesex County, to parents the late Harold and Kathleen (nee Young) Squire. Loving husband of the late Annetta Rose (nee Conlin).

Beloved father of Richard and wife Karen Squire of Chatham, Dianne Squire of Blenheim and Robert Squire of Ridgetown. Grandfather of Tiffany Squire of Chatham, Tammy Knizat of Blenheim, Stacey Knizat of Blenheim, Bradley Squire of Forest and Joshua Squire of Chatham. Great-Grandfather of Taylor, Chase, Asia, Drea and Raiven.

Brother to David (Sherry) Squire, Alvin (Diane) Squire, and Jim Squire. Predeceased by his siblings Leslie (late June) Squire and Barbara (late Don) Brown.

Brother-in-law to the late Alex Scane and the late Larry Conlin.

He will be missed also by his friend Betty, friends at Grand Retirement Village and many nieces and nephews.

Clayton worked as a Research Technician at the Ridgetown College - RCAT for 35 years. Clayt was a past member of the Power Squadron, Scouts Canada and Tilbury United Church.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
