George passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the LHSC-University Campus at the age of 69.

George was born in Agia Sofia, Larissa, Greece on August 7, 1949 and was the son of the late Theodore and Evangelia (Goudelitsa) Dalios and son-in law of Irene and the late Dimitrios Kaisarlis.

Beloved husband of 44 years to Amalia (Kaisarlis) Dalios of Chatham. 

Loving father of Theodore George and Joscelynn Dalios of Chatham,  Evangelia Dalios & Steve Johnston of Whitby and  Demetrius George Dalios & Hedyeh Javidnia of Ottawa.

Sadly missed by grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Nicholas, Isabella, Grayson, Aiden and Malia.

Dear brother of Mary and Gus Babalis, Tom and Voula Dalios, Lacky Dalios and Dina and Stefano Kaisarlis. 

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

George was a kind and thoughtful man whose selflessness and generosity was matched only by his capacity for his love of family and laughter.

The family will receive family and friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home,  459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON,  on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.

Prayers will be held Tuesday evening at 8 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 816 Grand Ave East, Chatham, ON,  on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. 

Burial to take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

The family requests that donations be made in memory of George to the St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church.
