Obituary of Edwin Sydney Bowen
BOWEN: Edwin Sydney "Ted" -
A resident of Aylmer, and formerly of Ridgetown and Wallaceburg, Ted Bowen passed away peacefully at Caressant Care on Mary Bucke, St. Thomas on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 90.
Born in Saugor, India, Ted was the son of the late Edwin and Eva (Fairs) Bowen.
Beloved husband of 10 years to Garlene (nee Wild) and 51 years to the late Barbara (Holyman) (2006).
Survived by daughter, Jane Gentille.
Proud Granddad of two granddaughters.
Also survived by a sister and brother in England as well as nieces and nephews.
As per Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at a later date.
Special thanks to the staff at Caressant Care for their care and compassion over the past year.
Donations made in memory of Ted to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue would be appreciated.
