ANAKIN: Gertina 'Tina' (nee Tulp) -
A resident of Dresden, Tina Anakin passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the age of 97.
Born in The Netherlands, Tina was the daughter of the late Albert and Lucassiena (Swarts) Tulp.
Beloved wife of the late Leslie Anakin (1994).
Loving mother of Dian Green (Henry) of Cartersville, Georgia. Stepmother of Shirley Templeton (Russell) and Douglas Anakin (Mary Jean).
Proud grandmother of Todd Green, Megan Wright, Bridget Kwok, Randy Templeton and Elizabeth Postma. Great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her sister Betty Howe and her brother Garnet Tulp. Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Tina had been employed with Pad and Textiles for 18 years and with Burton's Book Store for 13 years.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00 am until the Celebration of her Life at 11:00 am with Rev. James Tiffin officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
