Obituary of Inez Smith
SMITH: Inez (nee Burk) -
A resident of Chatham, Inez Smith passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 93.
Born in Blenheim, daughter of the late Sherman Burk and Gladys Speed. Predeceased by her husband Arlo J. Smith of 58 years and daughter Kay Carol Ann in 1946. Also predeceased by several sisters and brothers. She was the last surviving member of the family.
Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and her sister-in-law Pat Burk. She loved the outdoors, mother nature, camping and playing cards. There will be no public showing, only family members. Burial in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations made to the charity of your choice or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
