A resident of Edmonton, and formerly of Ridgetown, Josh Lucid passed away suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the age of 36.
Born in Chatham, Josh was the son of Richard and Fran (Chabot) Lucid.
Husband and best friend of Lauren (nee O'Neill) and family pet Southie.
Dearly missed by his mother-in-law Barb O'Neill of Ridgetown.
Much loved brother of Richard (Kim) of Edmonton, Michael (Genevieve) of Mississauga, Matthew (Mel) of Waterloo and Andrew (Deirdre) of Ottawa.
Brother-in-law to Daniel of Dresden and Aaron (Alicia) of Highgate.
Favourite uncle of Aislin, Richie, Ella; Samuel, Clara, Tatiana; Isabelle, Jack, Pippi, Will and Clara Bee.
Godson of Ray and Sheila MacKinnon of Etobicoke.
Josh will be missed by many aunts, uncles, friends and extended family, especially Lauren's grandparents Tom and Dorothy O'Neill.
Josh loved to laugh, loved life and loved hockey, especially the Edmonton Oilers. He will be missed for his quick wit, his great smile and his big heart.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. The Celebration of Josh's Life will continue at the Royal Canadian Legion, Ridgetown. A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Josh to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
