PELTIER: David -
A resident of Ridgetown, Dave Peltier passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 81.
Born in Chatham, Dave was the son of Victor and Gladys (Wright) Peltier.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Lorraine (nee DeMay).
Dear father of Rick Peltier (Barb) of Ridgetown, David Peltier (Deb) of Ridgetown, Bruce Peltier (Cheryl) of Ridgetown and Marc Peltier (LouAnne) of Rondeau.
Proud 'Grandpa Pel' of JoDee (Greg), Michelle (Pat); Cory (Amanda), Dale (Lindsay), Justine (Adam); Darcy, Bryan (Taylor); and Griffin.
Great-Grandpa to Camryn, Paiton, Hunter, Blake, Brandon, Rachel, Claire, Ellette ("Letty"), Owen and Makenzi.
Predeceased by his brother Vance Peltier and his sister Yvonne Makey. Brother-in-law to Cathy Peltier.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Dave aka 'Discount' ran Dave Peltier Carpentry in Ridgetown and surrounding area for many years. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 243, Ridgetown. Dave loved the outdoors.
Cremation has taken place with interment to be held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Dave to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
