Obituary of Tim Mielczarek

MIELCZAREK: Tim  -

A lifelong resident of Chatham, Tim Mielczarek passed away at the  Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with his family at his side on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 48. 

Born in Chatham, Tim was the son of Marta (Kumur) and the late Henryk Mielczarek (1991). 

Loving father of Paige, Stella, Daphne and Jane.

Dear brother of Wanda Johnston of Windsor and Henry Mielczarek (Carol) of Windsor.

Dearly missed by his companion and 'Side Kick' Robin Thomas. 

Uncle to Dwayne Johnston and Tammy Mungar. Also missed by several cousins, friends and extended family. 

Tim enjoyed hockey and was actively involved in his daughters' baseball teams.  He was a big Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Blue Jay fan. 

He will be remembered for his generous spirit and bright smile. 

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 10:00 am on Friday, January 25, 2019. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date. 

Donations made in memory of Tim to an education trust for his children (cheques payable to Henry Mielczarek) would be appreciated.
